Commenting on the attack in which dozens of Bahraini soldiers stormed the home of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem, messed up its contents, and terrorized his family, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

After it continued shedding the Bahrainis' blood, and violating their sanctities for more than two years, the ruling Bahraini authorities stormed into the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem.

In details, dozens of heavily armed Bahraini soldiers broke into the house at dawn today [Friday] in Diraz, west of the capital Manama.

The soldiers further terrified women and children by seizing them in one room and messing up the contents of His Eminence's room.
This cowardly attack is a blatant encroachment and a serious violation to the religious sanctities and Islamic posts.
In parallel, it reveals the falsity of the ruling authorities' allegations regarding the respect of religious scholars.
This attack urges a wide condemnation and a strong stand in face of the brutal authorities that went away by crossing all red lines.

As Hizbullah strongly condemned this aggression, it strongly expressed its deep anger and regret for the violation of the sanctity of the religious figure.
Moreover, it expressed its highest degree of solidarity with His Eminence Sheikh Issa, and urged the courageous and religious Bahraini people to rally around Eminence.

Hizbullah also called the Arab and Islamic countries to pressure the Bahraini regime to prevent the continuation of attacks on religious leaders, and civilians particularly elders, women and children as well as to respond to the legitimate demands of the Bahraini people in achieving reform, justice and equality.
