After his various actions of curses, insults against the Lebanese Army, and attacks on security forces, Lebanese General Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi requested on Tuesday lifting immunity off the Future MP Moeen al-Merehbi.

In the Future’s State: MPs Insult LA, Shoot Security Forces However, it seems that the mentioned MP owes no respect to the judiciary and the state, which his party has long played the "symphony of building it."

Earlier, al-Merehbi fired shots in the air in the northern city of Tripoli on Sunday night on an Internal Security Forces unit, which was removing a building violation in the area.
In parallel, the Blue Movement's deputies showed no regret over their colleague's assault on the prestige of the Internal Security Forces.

The MPs Mohammed Kubbara, Khaled Daher, Nidal Tohme held a solidarity meeting with al-Merehbi [the shooter on the Security forces] in the presence of a crowd of Tripoli's Sheikhs.

Meanwhile, the "hero" described the judiciary request as "ridiculous."
"It doesn't deserve a reply from me and I'm ready to open fire again," al-Merehbi said.
In remarks to al-Ahed news, legal sources confirmed "that in the case of flagrante delicto, and the opening of a minutes within 24 hours of the offense, the arrest of MP does not require the submission of a request to lift the immunity."

"The MP is to be stopped immediately," they confirmed, and wondered: "Did the security forces fulfill their duty and opened a minutes directly after the incident?"
Sources highlighted that the legal path being followed after the General Prosecutor demands to lift immunity off any MP and to refer him to the Minister of Justice, requires the latter to refer the request to the Parliamentary, which in turn would hold a general session to vote on lifting immunity.

In this context, another question is being posed: "Will the parliamentary hold a session to vote on lifting off immunity from the MP al- Merehbi?" noting that there is a previous request from the Army's command to lift his immunity.

On this note, since MP al- Merehbi was caught red-handed in his crime, his crime imposes, according to the Criminal Procedures - that he be immediately arrested without waiting any request for lifting immunity from the General Prosecutor to the Minister of Justice then to the Parliament, only to be forgotten in the Parliament's files.

Also, lifting immunity off MP Botros Hareb was ignored after he crossed all red lines when he insulted the judicial system.

Moreover, when al-Meroubi crossed the lines when he insulted the government and its rules is merely a result of the judiciary's and perhaps the Parliament's negligence in holding the assaulters accountable to their actions.

How else would one explain the Northern MP's offense to governmental bodies that reached an insolent extent? How could a MP who is supposed to be a role model in abiding by rules and laws reach to this level of offense if it weren't for the political coverage that the Future Movement provides him with?

At this point, the state and its security agencies move become more than necessary when the nation's MPs disgrace the Lebanese Army and their Excellency attack the Security forces and the nation's representatives insult the judiciary.
