Although international human rights accords and customs-especially the "Convention on the Rights of the Child"- stressed the necessity of protecting children and granting their freedom, "Israeli" occupation forces prefer to kill and arrest Palestinian children.

Legalists: Benefit from Footage of A report broadcast by "Israeli" Channel 2 TV station highlighted the increase of targeting this critical age group in its documentation to "Israeli" forces violent hunt and arrest of children in night late hours. Moreover, the report - on breaching campaign of al-Ouroub Camp in al-Khalil, West Bank - mentioned how Palestinian children are forced to leave their beds, blindfolded then cuffed in front of their mothers, on grounds of participating in stone throwing on settlers' vehicles.
Nevertheless, this was not the first time cameras detect "Israeli" soldiers acting nasty and offensive towards children no older than 16 years-old.

Also, this oppression is not limited to certain areas in the West Bank, which Ahmad al-Bitawi, researcher in "International Solidarity" Organization described as a dangerous indication on the lack of accountability to occupation authorities.
For his part, al-Bitawi, in an interview with al-Ahed News website, warned that the latest footage "Israeli" media broadcast aimed at enhancing the occupation's image by presenting "Israeli" soldiers to the international public opinion as kind towards children, although they are not at all considerate to children's privacy and they treat them in a cruel and sadistic way.

The researcher reiterated that the latest period witnessed a huge escalation in beating and torturing children prisoners, calling on human rights organizations for an urgent motion to cease these daily violations.

For his part, the Chief of the Center, Fouad al-Khafash called on the Authority to rely on its diplomatic cables to spread these footages.
Likewise, B'Tselem, the "Israeli" Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, regularly documents violations targeting Palestinians.
Among the recently documented incidents is when a so-called border guard assaulted Saeed Qabalawi, 14, from al-Quds. The boy's attestation reported, "When he was near his house, a policeman grabbed him, dragged him on the floor, and put him into a Jeep, then other policemen in the car beat him while he was still on the Jeep's floor; they kept beating him until they reached the neighboring camp to which he was transferred."
