Le Figaro: Jordan Opens Airspace to "Israel"

The French newspaper Le Figaro reported Monday that Jordan decided to allow "Israel" to use its airspace in order to monitor the situation in Syria and even attack the country's chemical facilities, if the need arose.
The French online newspaper noted two routes to be opened to the Zionist entity: a southern route from al-Naqab and a route via Amman. "Opening Jordanian airspace would mean "Israel" can avoid flying over southern Lebanon. The "Israelis" still fear a response from Hizbullah."
According to the daily, "the "Israeli" drones can now enter the Jordanian airspace from east of the Zionist entity, before going north over Syria."
A Western source confirmed the information, stating "King Abdullah decided to open his country's airspace to "Israeli" air military."
"It is a strong and exceptional gesture," he added, and pointed out that "the Jordanian King took the decision during the visit of the US President Barak Obama on March 22 and 23."
The French daily further reported that the Zionist entity "is concerned about the increasingly deteriorating situation on the borders with Syria, where artillery fire has increased in recent weeks."
"To avoid detection, "Israeli" drones fly at night," said the military source, and noted that "these drones are armed and therefore can hit anywhere in Syria."
A military expert further mentioned, "the Syrians have Russian air defenses, but the "Israeli" aircrafts are difficult to be detected."
Earlier, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad warned that "the fire will not stop at our borders."
"Everyone knows that Jordan is also exposed [to the crisis] that Syria knows," he said.
In recent weeks, the United States announced the deployment of 200 soldiers near the northern border with Syria.
"The goal creates a buffer zone. All these topics will be discussed next Friday when King Abdullah will be received at the White House by Obama," the report said.
