Syria's Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdulkarim Ali reiterated in an interview with al-Ahed News website, "The Syrian Army must respond to gunfire coming from the Lebanese borders."

"The security of these borders is everyone's responsibility, and we face negligence, weakness, corruption and sometimes conspiracy, and this is what contributed to the flow of arms and militiamen," Ali stated.

Asked about Lebanon's role in the Syrian crisis, Ali considered it "a painful and cruel accomplice in shedding Syrian blood," stressing, "Syria is capable of coming up with a political resolution harmonious to the Syrian people's demandants, not to the wants of the White House's politicians and the ‘black houses' in Ankara and the Gulf."

"All this pain gives Syria and the resistance more immunity and training, and "Israel" takes this into consideration, and we will be victorious in Allah's will," he accentuated.
The interview with the Syrian Ambassador deliberated the development of events in the Syrian crisis, and the relation between Lebanon and Syria regarding the continuous border clashes.

Weapon Regulation, Lebanese-Syrian Borders

Ambassador Ali: Syrian Army Will Respond to Gunfire In this context, Ambassador Ali underscored that Lebanon must hold great responsibility, "and the arms smuggling regulation that the Lebanese Army performed in Ain Zahlata is a positive indication and we hope it broadens."

"The LA's actions are a guarantee for Lebanon's security, and as long as Lebanon is unified, safe, stable and strong, this would surely strengthen Syria," he stated.
Moreover, the Syrian Ambassador refused secession and believed that "the vast majority of Lebanese refuse secession that the US, the West, and "Israel" plot to, greedily seeking Syria and Lebanon's resources."
"This greed cannot be satisfied but by dispersion and weakness," he added.
Moreover, the Syrian admitted that the Lebanese-Syrian borderline situation is difficult and complex, considering the deep historic and interrelated ties between the two countries.

He further stressed, "On this note, I see there is negligence, disregard and leniency of stances, and some hid behind alliances, friends and patriots."
"Corruption infiltrated every building on the Lebanese-Syrian borderline," Ali underlined.
Moreover, Abdulkarim Ali admonished Lebanon, since it was "a painful accomplice in Syrian bloodshed, and its negative impacts on Lebanon were numerous," while holding official authorities, especially the Parliament and the security institutions, responsible for "controlling the borders".

"Being lenient in preventing these actions, from the beginning, leads to security mayhem, hubs of extremists and infiltration of dangerous intelligence centers from around the world under the aliases of humanitarian and pro-democratic intentions," Ali stressed.

On a similar note, the Syrian ambassador accentuated that the flow of arms and extremist militiamen, who had several facilitations in the area, are dangerous on the security of Lebanon and Syria. "This flow is considered an asset for the Zionist enemy, since "Israel" harbors these extremist forces and offers them medical care in "Israeli" hospitals."
Additionally, Ali Abdulkarim Ali reiterated that intelligence forces sneaking into Syria is a dangerous matter as they target the strong framework of Syria and Lebanon.

This comes as both countries continue to refuse to implement US and Zionist schemes and compromise Syrian sovereignty, the resistance in Lebanon, and Palestinians.

Moreover, tolerance on the Lebanese-Syrian borders, according to Ali, "weakens immunity and resistance."
"One cannot condone the insult of the Lebanese constitution and the signed agreements between Lebanon and Syria. This insult had occurred on Syria and the brotherly ties between the two countries," Ali explained.
Ali believed that Lebanon was concerned from US and Gulf pressures, since Lebanon was threatened by the US and tempted by the Gulf wealth.
As for the aggression on Syria, Ali believed that it is an aggression on Lebanon, because he supposed that both countries "are integrated in their interests and security."

Furthermore, Ali forgave "all those who did wrong to Syria," and called parties to "come back to their senses because danger is imminent and will not rule out anyone."

Responding to gunfire from Lebanon

On another note, ambassador Ali stressed, "The Lebanese-Syrian ties are regarded with great care and caution by Syria. However, that does not mean that Syria does not take this danger, conspiracy and war into consideration."
"The continuous assaults on borderline villages and the Syrian infrastructure will not be tolerated, so Syria must respond to gunfire," he added.

Ali emphasized that Syria "appreciates Lebanese and Syrian citizens on both ends of the borderline, since extremist and fundamentalist militiamen exploit them for cover, firing, and assaults."

Syrian-Syrian Dialogue

Asked about the understanding between parties in Syria, and its relation to the expected Obama-Putin meeting, Ali firmly stated, "We bid on Syria's endurance and victory."
"Bidders, who hindered the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, lost all their strengths in Syria, and when the crisis is over, dialogue between all Syrian parties, sects, scholars and politicians will take place," the Syrian ambassador confirmed.

According to Ali, the dialogue that President Bashar al-Assad called on in his latest speech is what found common ground between Syrians. The government presented a "complete program" that created "common grounds between Syrians."
"Here is Syria's welfare. Not through dictations and measures of those who want to weaken and destroy Syria," Ali stressed.

"Syria will remain unified," he added.

Likewise, Ali hoped that "the Lebanese-Syrian security unite for the region's welfare."

Syrian Crisis, Western Greed

Ambassador Ali: Syrian Army Will Respond to Gunfire "There are wars imposed on Syria, not only one," the Syrian ambassador affirmed.
"The West is led by inversed values contrary to virtuous values," he added, noting, "It is led by monopolization, greed, and defending power, especially after growing so feeble that its fall and crash is imminent, chiefly during the 2006 victory, Gaza's endurance in 2008 and 2012, and the withdrawal of US soldiers from Iraq."

""Israel" aims at monopolizing power while other countries fight each other based on ethnic, religious, sectarian and racial grounds. However, Syria endured this plot for more than two years," Ambassador Ali emphasized.

Damascus Battle

Regarding the Damascene battle, Ali stressed, "This is a repetitive scenario on a bid that already proved to be wrong."

"Terrorists, Americans, Qataris, and Turks are panicking because this bid is reaping great losses," he explained.
