"Israel" Strikes Gaza, Sends Warnings, Resistance Responds

Hours after the martyrdom of Palestinian prisoner Maisarah Abu Hamdiyeh in "Israeli" jails, "Israeli" jets stroke Gaza strip.
Hamas Interior Ministry said in a statement that "Israeli" jets bombarded an open area in northern Gaza late on Tuesday.
"Occupation planes bombarded an open area in northern Gaza, there were no wounded," said the statement.
The "Israeli" military officials confirmed that there had been a strike in Gaza, but gave no further details.
In response, resistance fighters from Gaza fired two Qassam rockets toward the western al-Naqab Wednesday morning.
According to "Israeli" agencies, two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip exploded near "Israel's" Sderot settlement.
This comes after the martyrdom of Abu Hamdiyeh sparked Palestinian anger with officials accusing "Israel" for refusing to release him early on compassionate grounds.
Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri told AFP the faction was watching the developments with "the greatest concern" and that "Israel" would "regret its continuing crimes".
This comes as protests emerged all over the Palestinian occupied territories over the prisoner's martyrdom.
In the West Bank city of al-Khalil, "Israeli" soldiers fired tear gas and rubber bullets at nearly 300 angry demonstrators. Three people were reportedly injured in another demonstration held in East al-Quds.
Meanwhile, hawkish "Israeli" war minister Moshe Yaalon warned Wednesday that "Israel" would respond to any "attacks on its territory" and would not allow its settlers or armed forces to come under fire "in any form".
"We shall not allow in any form the establishment of a routine of sporadic firing on our civilians or on our forces," Yaalon said in a statement.
He further mentioned: "In the Golan Heights as well our policy is that we have no intention of ignoring fire from Syria toward "Israeli" territory, incidental or not, and we will respond with a strike."
"The moment we identify the source of the fire, we will destroy it without any hesitation, as we did last night," he said.
"The Syrian regime is responsible for whatever happens on its territory, and we will not allow a situation in which fire leaks into "Israeli" territory without a response."
