"The land will quake and Hizbullah will launch rockets here. Any incorrect presence on the ground will lead to deaths and injuries. If you didn't use your minds, you will receive strikes. Think about how to better prepare in the field."

With these words, the Brigade General Kobi Barak, chief of Technology and Logistics Unit in the "Israeli" army, addressed his soldiers at "Tsalim" military base.

In parallel, he stated: "Go into the small details. It starts with reservist soldiers, who crosses the border on their way to battle, and passes to evacuating the wounded, and whether ammunition has reached its objectives or not."
"Even if the situation was difficult and you were shelled, you will affect the course of the next war," Barak said, and advised the soldiers not to doubt this. "Nobody says it will be easy, but if you know what is important and how you prepare, confidence will rise."

Barak called "officers of tomorrow" to be attached to reality.

To him, the real war of the "Israeli" army begins in the home front, in the security establishment talking about 1200 daily rockets, in the event of a war with Hizbullah.

"Currently, the Lebanese arena is the more susceptible to explosion so that it obliges the "Israeli" army to prepare for the possibility that Hizbullah tries to eliminate the ability of the "Israeli" army on the first day of the war, through barrages of heavy rocket-propelled grenades and accurate rockets against the main centers of the army mainly in assembly areas, emergency units, and supply bases," Barak warned.

For this purpose, the "Israeli" Maj. Gen. decided that, for the first time in two decades, the "heroic soldiers" conduct drills in the training base for the Technology and Logistics.

The drills seek to understand the lessons of the past.

According to officials from the "Israeli" Technology and Logistics Unit, "All that exists on the map will be a target for Hizbullah's missiles, including all what can be seen from the Lebanese border."
"The aim of the training is to enable troops to get out of the rules and reduce the possibility of targeting arms and ammunition stores."
