The Tishreen Syrian daily revealed Wednesday that the presidency of the Arab League summit, which was held in the Qatari capital Doha, allocated a room next to Hall of meetings to "Israeli" experts and diplomats.

According to the daily the "Israelis" were assigned to closely monitor the work of the summit, starting from recording the discussions, to monitoring the tones and facial features of the speakers.
"This secret chamber was equipped with the latest types of cameras and recorders and was prepared to host the "Israeli" team for two days," it added.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, said on Tuesday that the AL's act of giving Syria's seat in it to those who don't represent the Syrian people marks the end of the League's role in the region.
Abdullahian further stated that such acts sets a dangerous precedent in the Arab world as such a step could be taken in the future against other members countries.

In parallel, the Iranian official slammed the silence of the League members over the crimes committed by "Israel" against the Palestinian people.
He also urged the Arab leaders to end their silence toward the Zionist entity's aggressions and crimes. "AL must focus its efforts on supporting the Palestinian people."

In November 2011, the AL suspended Syria's membership, though Damascus is a founding member of the organization.
