Syrian Army Controls Bab Amro

Syrian Army succeeded Tuesday in controlling Baba Amro in the central city of Homs. After two weeks of fighting with the armed groups, the army managed to restore calm to the area.
"Syrian regime forces have recaptured total control of the district of Baba Amro, after more than two weeks, after rebel fighters had infiltrated the area and seized several neighborhoods," said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights group.
A rebel from the district confirmed the report, saying: "The rebels have withdrawn from Baba Amro."
Meanwhile, an army unit on Monday destroyed a number of terrorist groups' hideouts and gatherings in in Lattakia countryside.
In parallel, units of the Syrian armed forces carried out a series of the qualitative operations against the armed groups in Joubar Neighborhood in Damascus Countryside during which a store of explosive devices was demolished.
An official source told SANA reporter that during the operations a number of the terrorists were killed.
In Daraya, army units continued to pursuit the rebels near the train station and at the surrounding area of al-Sayyeda Sukaina Holy Shrine.
Moreover, the Syrian army destroyed a number of terrorists' dens and convoys of cars along with weapon and ammunition inside them , confiscating weapons and explosives in Aleppo and its countryside.
In the same context, another Army unit destroyed a number of dens in al-Makalia, Khan Touman, Maria and Khan al-Assal.
