Bahraini Security Forces Crack Down Protest to Pearl Square

Bahraini security forces dispersed a mass march to Pearl Square on Friday, marking the second anniversary of Saudi al-Jazeera Shield Forces entering the kingdom.
Witnesses reported that a huge number of men and women who held Bahrain's flags marched in a protest that aimed at reaching Pearl Square.
This comes in response to calls from anti-governmental "February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition" to march to the Square with the theme of "week of revolutionary march".
Moreover, witnesses pointed out, "Police fired teargases and thunder flashes to disperse the demonstrators, who in turn threw stones and Molotov bottles and blocked roads with trashcans and tires."
On this note, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior tweeted, "Security forces confronted a terrorist group that attacked them with Molotov bombs and attempted to block al-Badea road near al-Sanabes."
