Barak: "Israel" Facing Security Challenges, Remains Strong

The outgoing "Israeli" war minister Ehud Barak claimed Monday that no power in region that can attack "Israel" with "air forces and armored divisions."
Barak further admitted that his entity faces great security challenges.
""Israel" is clearly the strongest power in the Middle East," "Israel" Radio reported and mentioned that Barak was speaking in a parting address at the Knesset Foreign and Military Committee.
"There are very complex challenges ahead of us. The Iran threat is not disappearing, Syria is crumbling before our eyes, and weapons transfers to Hizbullah can take place on any day," he said.
In parallel, he claimed that "despite these challenges, "Israel" has relative strength in the region."
""Israel" is clearly the strongest entity in the Middle East," Barak said, adding "we do not expect that there is a power in the region that can attack "Israel" with air forces and with armored divisions."
For his part, Head of the Committee, Avigdor Liberman emphasized the economic challenges of the War Ministry saying that the incoming "Israeli" War Minister "would have to deal with budget cuts to military just like all other sectors in society adding that the Minister would also have to confront the issue of equality in service to "Israel" with regard to the haredim and with other minorities."
