Bahraini activists declared the martyrdom of protestor Mahmoud Isa al-Jaziri, 20, who succumbed to severe wounds in the head during a demonstration in the town on al-Nabih Saleh on February 14.

Police attacked marchers as they carried Bahraini flags and portraits of Buhmaid, who was shot in the head on 19 February 2011 during an anti-government rally in Manama.

Also, protesters in Sitra held a march to mark the anniversary of the killing where they chanted anti-government slogans.
Furthermore, police have fired tear gas, sound grenades, and shotgun pellets at demonstrators who have taken to the streets to pay their respects to 16-year-old Hussein al-Jaziri since his martyrdom on 14 February 2013.

Ever since the Bahraini people's outburst in February 2011, the regime brutally enforced crackdowns to disperse peaceful unarmed protesters demanding democratic election of government. Bahraini regime soon called for Saudi-led Arab reinforcements to crackdown on protesters.
The death toll to date exceeded 90 martyrs, injuries and arrests reached hundreds, including doctors and nurses who treated injured civilians.
