"Israeli" Expert:Occupation of Lebanese-Syrian Border might Prevent Arms Smuggling into Lebanon

The "Israeli" expert in Syrian and Lebanese Affairs Gay Bakhour warned of the danger of "Israel" intervening in Syrian events and what he described as "the Arab Spring Oven".
In an interview with "Israel's" Channel 10, he noted, "The recent raid on Syria is an indication that the military tactical perspective was able to overpass the strategic one."
Moreover, Bakhour stated, "I observe this with disappointment, because tactics overcame strategy, and "Israel's" stance of dissociation from the Arab Spring fault was right, but we were not able to stay outside."
He added, ""Israel" couldn't stop arms' smuggling into Lebanon. No Syrian-Lebanese borders exist now for two months. Hizbullah is in Syria, and could smuggle anything from there."
"What might prevent smuggling is an "Israeli" occupation of the Syrian-Lebanese borderline, but in this scenario, matters will further complicate," Bakhour said.
In contrary to the recent "Israeli" story, which claimed that "the Syrian regime gradually collapses," Bakhour stressed, "Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's state has much improved."
He further said: "Russia's support, its stationed Fleet, parallel to the US, Turkey, and NATO's reiteration of non-intervention, and Hizbullah is expert in street wars."
Moreover, he pointed out, "What was bombed in the raid could have been crossed to Lebanon, or will be tomorrow."
