The Sheikh of al-Naim tribe in Syria, Mohaamad Nader, revealed Friday that an "Israeli" espionage cell exists in Darya, Damascus countryside.

He further assumed that the cell is likely linked to the recent "Israeli" raid on the Scientific Research Center in the Jmraiya area, Damascus countryside.
In an interview with al-Ahed news site, Nader unveiled that "the "Israeli" spying cell, recently discovered in Darya, provided the Zionist entity with logistical and intelligence information."
"This facilitated the "Israeli" recent mission in Syria," he added, referring to the raid on the research center.

In parallel, Nader provided evidences on the involvement of cells, notably located in Darya, in direct relations with the Zionist entity:

1 - As the army units moved into Darya, they arrested a number of foreign officers carrying French and Saudi nationalities.

2 - There were repeated attempts by armed groups to control the scientific research center as a strategic center. These attempts synchronized with the recent "Israeli" raid, which shows the armed groups' link to the Zionist entity.

3 - The armed groups frequently targeted the Syrian air defense battalions. This provides a clear indication of the close link between the "Israeli" raid and the armed groups' criminal acts.

However, Nader assured that during his tours in Darya, he found that the region is almost safe. This comes as the Syrian army scored a clear progress in the region and cleared more than 85% of its neighborhoods.
