The authority of the "Israeli" kibbutz ,Misgav Am which faces the Lebanese Southern village Odaysee, was astonished by the so-called "Israel's" interior ministry recognition that parts of the Kibbutz is built on Lebanese territory.

According to Maariv Hebrew daily, the recognition "came after the elapse of 67 years on the establishment of the Kibbutz, built in the Upper Galilee in Northern of Occupied Palestine."
"This was revealed during the debate over converting the use of some lands from agriculture to residential," the daily stated.

It is known that the patrol's road, adjacent to the border fence with Lebanon, is supposed to be set in the "Israeli" side i.e. directly behind the Lebanese territories.
Maariv newspaper said that the Kibbutz has provided relevant charts and maps to the planning and building committee of the so-called "interior" ministry to build additional settling units.
However, the aforesaid committee rejected the request, and said that "the Kibbutz has to first withdraw to the "Israeli" border before considering the request."
"You need to first withdraw to "Israeli" territory and to correct the Blue Line so that you are not passing the State's borders," the ministry responded.
In response, the coordinator of the economic facilities in the kibbutz, Jacob Bergman, said: "We, unfortunately, faced a rejection from the committee to discuss our demands because there is a boundary line that cuts the kibbutz land."
"The District Committee ignores the existing and manned buildings, the roads, and parking squares within the kibbutz, and in the west of the boundary, drawn after the "Israeli" withdrawal from Lebanon in May 2000," he added.

In parallel, Maariv clarified that the directions of the former head of the Regional Council for Upper Galilee, Aharon Flansa, received a deaf ear from both the Department of Northern District and the "Interior" Ministry.
Thus, the kibbutz is preparing an enormous suit, seeking a compensation of tens of millions of shekels against the Zionist entity.
According to the Hebrew daily, Misgav Am was founded in 1945 by a core of "Pal Mach" [Mobile forces of the informal Settlements Army].

"The following factors of isolation, difficult climate, lack of water and land that accompanied the founding members was very difficult," the daily mentioned, and pointed out that "they isolated from the outside world."

It also stated that "Kibbutz was only connected to its surrounding via a narrow trail, and over the years only a few members joined the remote kibbutz."
