Iran, IAEA 7th Round of Talks No Outcome

Two days of talks between the UN International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Iran on the latter's nuclear program ended in Tehran on Thursday night in the 7th round of talks, reaping unclear results.
A new round of talks is expected to take place in February 12.
The IAEA called on Iran to implement a structured approach document to resolve the unsettled issues, and stated that gaining access to the Parchin military site, Southeast of Tehran, is a priority for the UN nuclear watchdog.
Iran, however, refused the site's inspection unless the IAEA met its demands, chiefly the official admission of Iran's legal right to peaceful Uranium enrichment as to the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
However, the West fears this admission, which would deem all international and unilateral sanctions imposed on Iran void, since Uranium enrichment would be official and legitimate.
Previous talks took place in total secrecy to deliberate both parties' demands on the nuclear file. The IAEA intended on collaborations in this round of talks, however had set its eyes on inspecting the Parchin military site.
Tehran stressed that the country has always pursued a civilian path to provide power to the growing number of the Iranian population, whose fossil fuel would eventually run dry.
