Iran: US Should Adopt Realistic Approach in Nuclear Talks

Spokesman of Iran's Representative Office in the United Nations Alireza Miryousefi published an article in response to the American daily Wall Street Journal's allegations on Iran's nuclear program.
The US daily "Wall Street Journal" had published an article titled "the economic costs of a nuclear Iran" in which the authors spoke of so-called consequences of "a nuclear confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia."
In the response article, Miryousefi expressed disappointment from raising false Iranophobia topics in light of new rounds of negotiations between Tehran and the 5+1.
He noted that years of rigorous inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency's did not reap any proof to negate Iran's peaceful nuclear policies, IRNA reported.
Miryousefi had stated that Iran enjoys the absolute right to have nuclear fuel as stipulated in the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
The main goal behind such tale telling, Miryousefi said, is to deviate the world's public opinion from the genuine threats the Middle East faces because of the Zionist regime's illegal nuclear arsenal and its occupation of Palestinian territories.
Miryousefi concluded by stressing the significance of talks between Iran and the 5+1 and that a constructive and realistic approach must be adopted to guarantee peace and security.
