Syria Rebels’ Atrocities: Slaughtering Christians, Media, Threatening to Biologically Poison Water

The terrorist groups in Syria killed Saturday a cameraman for Syrian state television. According to the TV reporter, the man has been gunned down outside his home in Damascus.

"Our colleague Haidar al-Sumudi, cameraman for Syrian Arab Television, was shot dead by an armed terrorist group outside his home in Kfar Sousa in Damascus," the television said, without specifying when the attack took place.

Even before his death, at least 17 paid journalists and 44 citizen journalists had been killed in violence in Syria since the beginning of the Syrian crisis last year, according to mid-December figures from media activist Reporters Without Borders.

State media correspondents have been hit as well as independent journalists. On December 4, a reporter for government newspaper Tishrin was shot dead in Damascus. Last month, a state television reporter was gunned down.

Meanwhile, al-Mohajereen Brigades broadcasted pictures of a terrorist operation, in which the group slaughtered Christian young men under the slogan of "Setting God's Limits".

The biggest punishment was for a young man who carried a cross chest necklace. The group's leader viewed the cross as big sin and thus slaughtered all the young men. This decision was based of the so-called "Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice" group, a subsidiary of al-Nusra Front.

Similarly, "Islam Times" site aired a video to the called "Sarsar Wind battalion, in which they threatened for the second time of poisoning the Sin Spring in Lattakia province by chemicals, particularly the so-called "Sunnah 2" chemicals.
According to the tape, the battalion described the chemical as "the most dangerous biological weapon to poison the drinking water in urban areas."

It further added that "a dose of 2 grams is enough to kill an adult within an hour."
"The attack on these targets and the contamination of drinking water sources will be through firing this chemical in rocket warheads," the group threatened.
