Wave of Bombings Kill 35: Iraq

At least 25 people were killed and dozens wounded on Monday in a series of bombings across Iraq. Seven people were killed in al-Mouafaqiyah and 11 were wounded in the bombing, according to France 24 News Agency.
Northern Iraq, two car bombs went off in the city of Tuz Khormato, killing five people and wounding 26, stated Mohammed al-Asi, a spokesman for Salahuddin provincial council.
Moreover, a roadside bomb hit a bus carrying Lebanese visitors to the sacred shrines near Samarra, killing one Lebanese and the Iraqi driver and wounding eight others, including five Lebanese. A car bomb went off on a bus carrying Iranian visitors also heading to Samarra, killing two.
Another car bomb went off in a commercial area in downtown Baghdad in the afternoon, killing three people and wounding 10, France 24 Agency reported.
Furthermore, a car bomb exploded near an open-air car market in northeastern Baghdad, killing six people and wounding 30 others, police sources informed.
