16 People Killed in Damascus’ Blast

At least 16 people were killed, including 7 children and a number of women in the deadly Thursday blast that targeted Ras al-Nabe' area in Qatana city in Damascus Countryside.
In details, a car loaded with large amount of explosives was bombed near Mikhail Samaan School, leaving mass material damage to the cars, shops, residential buildings and infrastructure in the site.
The source added that 23 injured were also hospitalized, most of them are children and women, some in critical situation.
Meanwhile, Damascus Police Chief told al-Ahed-News site that "the explosion was caused by a suicide bomber who blew himself in a stolen car."
On another level, al-Nusra Front undertook the responsibility for bombing attack in Syrian Ministry of Interior.
In a statement released, the terrorist Front said that two attackers carried on Wednesday's bombing attack against the Syrian Interior Ministry.
"Two cars filled with explosives parked in front of the resting room of the interior ministry and blasted remotely. Many commissioned officers lost their lives after the blast when the conflict occurred. Two of our members who undertook the mission died as well," the statement read.
