"Israeli" Army radio station cited from "Israeli" political sources that, "the UN status upgrade for Palestine will not facilitate the Palestinian statehood, and "Israel" will get even at the right place and time."
The 193 UN member states voted in the General Assembly for the Palestinian authority's status upgrade to non-member state; 138 voted yes, 9 voted no, and 41 abstained.
On another note, "Israeli" PM Benyamin Netanyahu reiterated that the UN General Assembly's decision in Palestine's status upgrade will not change anything.
He further linked between Palestine's statehood to the validity of "Israel's" statehood, inviting to end the conflict and arrange security measures.
"I will not allow an Iranian terror hub to be established in the in Judea in Samaria [West Bank] in addition to those in Gaza and Lebanon. The road to peace between [al-Quds] Jerusalem and Ramallah is through direct negotiations without preconditions and not through unilateral decisions," Netanyahu added.
For his part, "Israeli" War Minister Ehud Barack accentuated in a joint press conference with his counterpart Leon Panetta that, "the UN's resolution is harmful and does not reach any solution."
However, Head of "Israeli" opposing Labor Party Shelly Yachimovich stressed, "The results in the UN vote poses questions on Netanyahu and his accomplice Avigdor Lieberman regarding how "Israel" reached this humiliating position in their era and how they offered a grand gift to the Palestinians."
Furthermore, Head of the Meretz opposing Party Zahava Gal-On further stated, "the world gave Netanyahu a slap in the face, hailed a Palestinian statehood, and invited to talks with Abu Mazen."
