Gaza’s Victory: A Confirmation of the Resistance Choice... A Recognition of Supporters in Iran, Syria, and Lebanon

Once again, the "people and resistance" formula trounced the haughtiness of the Zionist entity and demeaned "Israeli" military and political leaders.
After eight days of amphibious air, ground, and maritime aggression on Gaza Strip, Tel Aviv succumbed to the terms of the Palestinian factions through a cease-fire, which not only Cairo patronized, but also international sides, namely Washington.
Islamic Jihad leader, Ibrahim Najjar, confirmed that the recent confrontation changed the existing balances, which have lasted for six decades, in terms of "Israel's" vaunting towards the Arab nation in general, and the Palestinians in particular.
"The resistance is today able to carry on liberation through its too many achievements, in line with the loyal public who has shown imperturbability during the aggression; this contributed to the steadfastness of combatants and their representatives in the negotiations hosted in Cairo," Najjar told al-Ahed news site.
In parallel, he expressed his great gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hizbullah, and the Syrian regime, for the efficient and constructive support for the resistance, whether on the level of armament or even training.
For his part, Hamas official Khalil Abu Laila said that "whoever stood in the face of the enemy should enjoy victory God willing."
In turn, he thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran which has always extended its hand to the Palestinian people and resistance.
Abu Laila maintained that the truce was not eternal and that liberation certainly loomed. "There cannot be peace in the region unless the Zionist enemy vanishes," he said.
He also hoped that both the Arab and Islamic nations would finally unite on the path of the resistance with a view to liberating Palestine.
Moreover, politburo member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Talal Abu Zarifa, described what happened as a major national achievement.
He also stressed that it wouldn't have come true had it not been for the steadfastness of the people and the close union among combatants on the ground.
He said that one of the key messages which the victory of the strong will has carried was the confirmation of the helplessness of the enemies, who thought they could embark on the attack.
"But the enemy was surprised because the last word was not his, rather it was for the field's heroes who sacrificed their souls for the sake of defending their people."
Besides, Abu Zarifa vowed to carry on this path, marked with the blood of the martyrs and the wounded, to recuperate the violated rights, deter the occupier, and foil its aggressive and hostile schemes.
Gaza's victory also stirred the stalled inter-Palestinian reconciliation. For the first time in years, crowded demos rallied throughout Gaza, with panels of senior officials from Hamas and Fatah attending. The same scene could be also viewed in the West Bank, increasing the enemy's fears that the return of the union between the two sides of the shattered nation is near.
In fact, this would thwart the separation schemes and projects, which the occupation has anchored throughout the years of division. It would also tighten the grip around "Israel," which found itself broken before Gaza's missiles.
