Sheikh Maher Hammoud to Boost Unity between Sects

Imam of al-Quds Mosque in Sidon Sheikh Maher Hammoud stressed the necessity of unity between Muslim sects and its reflections on the entire Muslim scale.

In an Ashoura Commemoration in the Southern village of Kfarkila, Sheikh Maher Hammoud indicated that gathering at joint places between different Muslim sects is considered more prestigious and moral than what other parties propose, specifically the "atrocious sects that reject Shiites and Sunnis alike and neglect the things in common between us."
