Local Editor
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi sent letters to international organizations on Thursday, urging them to condemn the "Israeli" offensive on Palestinians and take the essential measures to halt this aggression.
The FM sent separate letters to the secretary generals of the United Nations, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the United Nations Human Rights Council, and high representative of European Union for foreign policy and security affairs.
Salehi stated in his letters that such barbaric atrocities have made people in the world worry about the Zionist regime's mass killing of Palestinian people, causing instability in the region.
Moreover, he urged for serious action to be taken to stop "Israel's" offensive on Gaza and "prevent a humanitarian catastrophe."
The "Israeli" aggression on Gaza in the last two days resulted so far in 19 deaths and hundreds of injuries, and the Zionist regime said it will continue its attacks on the region.
