"Freedom, Justice" Coalition Vows to Continue Qatif Uprising

The Saudi coalition "Youth of Freedom and Justice" in the Qatif region confirmed Thursday that "the uprising of dignity triggered by masses of people siince 2011 has roots and links that extend to the history of jihad."
"This uprising is neither separated from the era of resistance and struggle nor from the model of our Holy Imams ," the coalition added.
On the first anniversary of the martyrs of dignity in the city of Qatif, the coalition issued a statement in which they accused the Saud family of "oppression, transgression, havoc, and desolation since they captured the Arabian Peninsula's lands in the beginning of the twentieth century."
"All along this century, our people in the east of the Arabian Peninsula delivered great immortalized sacrifices," the statement read.
It further hailed "the names of martyrs and great leaders that shined since the dawn of the brave jihadi resistance against the brutal Saudi occupation."
"The uprising of dignity triggered by the masses of our people since the beginning of 2011 is rooted in the history of our jihad," the coalition concluded.
In parallel, the opposition held the festival of "Martyrs: Our Pride, Honor" in the Qatif region within the week of the uprising's martyrs.
