At least 11 citizens were killed and dozens others injured at al-Worod suburb of Qudsaya in Damascus after terrorists blew up a booby-trapped car in the region.
According to al-Intiqad, most of the victims are children and women.
Meanwhile, preliminary information indicated that the blast was due to three explosive devices planted in a car. Witnesses told "al-Intiqad": "After the first explosion, people gathered around the car. Minutes later, another blast exploded to be followed by a third one," they clarified.
In this context, al-Intiqad reported that the blasts followed by fierce clashes led to grave damages in the houses of citizens, destruction of a number of cars, shops' facades in addition to huge damages in the infrastructure, service, telephone and electric networks.
Earlier, an explosive device went off in Damascus' district of Sayyeda Zainab region, near the Royal Towers Hotel, causing material damages.
Moving to Aleppo, well-informed sources reveled to "al-Intiqad" that "violent clashes erupted between armed rebels' groups, especially between the North Storm Brigade and Omar Ibn al-Aas Brigade in the town of Izaz."
"Clashes are mostly related to disagreements within the rebels powers and distribution areas," they added.
This comes as the Syrian army continues to hound armed groups in Homs and Aleppo's districts.
