Local Editor
Lebanese President Michel Suleiman stressed Friday that "sending a drone over the "Israeli" enemy airspace depth, shows the need for devising a defense strategy that meets the demands of the army and its duties to defend the country and national interests."
He said: "Such a mechanism demonstrates the need for a defense strategy that can organize the capabilities of the resistance in defending Lebanon."
In parallel, the President highlighted that "the daily "Israeli" violations to the Lebanese sovereignty and airspace are a subject of Lebanese continuous complaints to the UN Security Council."
"Today, it has become urgent to immediately stop and put an end to this violations in response to UNSC resolution 1701 and as means to preserve peace and security in the region," Suleiman confirmed.
