The "Israeli" army does not bear the risk; in 2012 they have increased drills against various threats.

In this context, the General Staff Committee had executed recently a war maneuver on all fronts based on the estimation that the targets in the next war will be military bases from the south to the north.

Head of Logistics Division in the "Israeli" army believes that the military and civilian home front will be significantly damaged. Brigadier Itzik Cohen, in an interview with "Second Channel" said, "We are ready for war and are present on a somehow complicated front due to instability, we have to be ready at any time and this is what we do well."

"The army is following what is happening in Syria and the surroundings and the situation could explode at any day. The whole time, we update the logistical and operational commands and examine ourselves; we should not lose sight of the thing."

Recently the upper echelons of the "Israeli" army ratified the final resolution about the usage of HaKirya base (the building of the Ministry of Defense) in the event of a missile attack. Brigader Cohen explains that "according to my information, in the next war, the military and civilian Home Front will witness a significant damage and therefore lots of efforts were exerted in preparing the military home front to such a situation, to be able to withstand.

Not all the soldiers can be placed underground and most of them will be in fortified rooms."
As for the warehouses, the Head of Logistics Division said "our warehouses are completely filled. The warehouses of the general staff can respond to different scenarios.
As we also dealt with the issue of equipping the reservists as we have invested two billion shekels to do so."

"The army is keen to insure the permanence of the bases during the rocket fire," Cohen concluded, adding that "Drills are always taking place at various bases, people run to shelters and fortified bunkers are identified. We dig trenches, spread warehouses and distribute to the soldiers means of protection and build fortified logistic places for the moments of emergency."
