Chief of Staff of the "Israeli" army Beni Gantz composed an estimate of the situation to figure out the message behind the attempt of violating "Israel's" airspace. He also spoke of the preparation procedures in order to deter future attempts, reported the military reporter of the second channel Nir Devori.
"The type of the drone, and its departure location are not yet clear, the "Israeli" army knew that it didn't take off from Gaza, because it is an advanced drone made by a well-equipped country or organization, such as Hizbullah".
Divori went on saying that, "The Intelligence Division officers in the Air Force are examining the wreckage to see if Hizbullah has new capabilities that are unknown to the "Israeli" army," adding that "Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah may be demonstrating one of the surprises he's preparing to "Israel" in the third Lebanon war."
The military analyst in the channel, Roni Daniel, said "It's about a sophisticated aircraft controlled by a big party that could be called a "state", so maybe there is a tendency to cover up or not clearly say who did it."
The military analyst of Channel Ten in the "Israeli" television revealed that the ""Israeli" security establishment is still studying and examining the issue of the drone that was intercepted by the "Israeli" air force, over the southern Hebron hills," adding that "all indications say that the aircraft was launched from Lebanon, but it was unclear yet if it was fired by the Iranians directly, or through Hizbullah, even though it does not make a difference."
Ben David added that, "It is obvious the drone's aim was to gather intelligence, and the track shows it exceeded the "Israeli" defenses and entered "Israel" from the sea, in Ashkelon. It was detected in this region by the surveillance equipment, but it took them sometime to recognize what it was."
