Anti-Islam Ads in NY Subways

US-"Israeli" Anti-Islam moves continue.

In a new hatred crime, US inflammatory advertisements equated Muslims' Jihad with savagery.
The ads were posted on Monday in 10 New York City subway stations, even as much of the Muslim world was still protesting over the anti-Islam film insulting Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The ad, sponsored by the so-called "pro-"Israel" American Freedom Defense Initiative", appeared after the Metropolitan Transit Authority lost a bid to refuse to post it on the grounds that it violated the agency's policy.

The AFDI previously gained notoriety when it lobbied against the creation of a Muslim community center near the site of the now-destroyed World Trade Center.
The ad, featuring mostly black-and-white lettering on 46-by-30-inch cardboard posters, will remain posted for a month, MTA spokeswoman Marjorie Anders said.

"In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man," the ad reads. "Support "Israel"/Defeat Jihad."
Pamela Geller, a conservative pro-"Israeli" blogger, is the executive director for the ad's sponsor group.

She is a co-founder of the "Stop Islamization of America" foundation, which has been described as a hate group.
The ad was plastered on San Francisco city buses in recent weeks, prompting some artists to deface the ads and remove some of the words, including "Jihad," or "holy war."

"Where is the protection of religion in America?" wondered Javerea Khan, 22, a Pakistani-born Muslim from the Bronx. "The word 'savage' really bothers the Muslim community. But it's hard for me to look at this poster and take it seriously."
"I think it's unfortunate that someone would want to put that up," said Cameron McCabe at a subway station in midtown Manhattan. 

The development comes as millions of protesters throughout the Muslim world have been staging demonstrations to condemn the blasphemous movie made in the United States and a French magazine's recent publication of cartoons that insult Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
