Judge Nadim Zouein decided "to stop the Internet distribution of the film 'Innocence of Muslims' in Lebanon," following a complaint filed by a lawyer, a judicial source informed AFP.
The judge also ordered the Information Ministry and all internet service providers to take the necessary measures to stop its broadcast in Lebanon.

A fine of $1million will be laid down against any side that violates the judge's order.
Meanwhile, the President of the Beirut-based International Coalition against Impunity May al-Khansa viewed the Beirut's court decision as the first rain drop in a series of legal proceedings."

In an interview with "al-intiqad" website, al-Khansa clarified that " these procedures come as a response to the Secretary General of Hizbullah His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's appeal to confront the anti-Islam moves through all possible ways and means."
"I will, on the personal level, sue the producer, director, actors, and all who contributed in the US-"Israeli" film actors before the American courts," she clarified.
Al-Khansa further revealed that she "will meet, in this context, with a number of American lawyers on Saturday in Ireland over 4 days to discuss the case, before moving to America to follow it directly."
In parallel, the Lebanese attorney emphasized that "the case, which will be held in America, is a 100% trump suit."

"We are to ask for large compensations that will reach billions of dollars to be later distributed among poor Muslims," she noted.

Al-Khansa also mentioned that she "will deliver a judicial note to the Lebanese administrative judiciary to prevent the reception of US Ambassador Maura Connelly by the Prime Minister and the government's members."
