Massive Protest in Defense of Prophet Mohammad: Tyr

The Southern Lebanese city of Tyr encompassed the masses of people on Wednesday, as tens of thousands took part in the protest staged by Hizbullah and Amal Movement in defense of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).
The protest was organized as part of a series of protests against the anti-Islam film desecrating Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).
Holding banners and chanting slogans such as "At your service O messenger of Allah", "We are under your command", "We will sacrifice everything for your sake", and "America you are Great Satin" the protesters rallied. They also repeated the pledge to defend Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had launched earlier on Monday.
"O Messenger of Allah, my blood, family, wealth and everything I was granted by God are sacrifices to your dignity, veneration and honor. Let the whole world hear these words, O Prophet, my soul and my blood are at your service. Allah is a witness to what we say, the blood of our martyrs, the wounds of our injured, our demolished homes all witness, we will sacrifice everything for your sake Prophet Mohammad."
Leading the protest were Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member MP Nawwaf Moussawi, Hizbullah Secretary General Deputee Sheikh Naim Qassem, Hizbullah Executive Council Head-Deputy Sheikh Nabil Qaouk.
Addressing the massive crowds, Sheikh Nabil Qawouq noted that supporters of the Prophet "are gathered here in the southern land in order to assure their loyalty to him."
"Today, we come here with broken hearts and thunderous voices saying ‘at your service O messenger of Allah'.".
He stressed that the offense to Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) is an aggression against all the Muslim Ummah, adding "The enemies have targeted the Prophet (pbuh) in order to spark incitement between Muslims and Christians; they have realized that what prompts the people to rise against the occupiers is faith and the Quran brought by this holy Prophet."
Sheikh Qaouk iterated that the US has committed to most idiotic act, warning them from the repercussions of this mistake.
Addressing France, the Hizbullah official warned that "the cartoons insulting Prophet Mohammad constitute a major crime that also aims at sowing strife among the Muslims and Christians and weaken them," which according to Sheikh Qaouk will not happen owing to the awareness and wisdom of the people.
For his part, the head of Jabal Amel district Mohamad Ghazal and on behalf of the Amal movement saluted the participants, describing them as loyal to the rightfulness, straightness and Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).
He considered the offense against the holy Prophet as a "horrible act, prepared in the passageways of the international policy and planned by the Zionism in a bid to spark sedition between Muslims and Christians."
Gazhal also slammed the categorization of the offense under "freedom of expression", assuring that the best response to this act is religious and political figures' stances, condemning the crime and assuring the importance of dialogue.
