Haj Hassan Assures: Lebanon Country of Coexistence, Resistance

Lebanese Minister of Agriculture, Hussein Haj Hassan warned from sedition in the region, stating "the CIA and Mossad continue their effort to sow strife in our region by all means possible."
He explained that "The Innocence of Islam" anti-Islam film is one of such means designed to sow seeds of religious sectarian strife between Muslims and Christians, also to provoke violent reactions of wide sectors of Muslims.
"Mossad and the CIA created the impression that Film producers were Arab Christians with the bad intention of igniting and tinder fires of sectarian strife," Haj Haasan further stated.
He refused to hold any particular sect responsible for making the film and urged Muslims instead to resort to reason and awareness.
On another note, commenting on the visit of Pope Benedict to Lebanon, the Minister said "We, as Muslims who adhere to genuine Islamic values, Lebanese nationalism and patriotism, also resistance values, assure that Lebanon is a country of confessional coexistence and amiability. It is the country of Resistance in face of occupation," Haj Hassan reiterated.
He assured that "Lebanon is the place of intellectual and cultural communication between Islam and Christianity.
