Head of Loyalty to Resistance Bloc MP Mohammad Raad warned Friday of the dangers, consequences, and the contents of the memorandum that March 14 forces submitted to the president.

In a press conference he held in the Parliament, Raad urged "all national Lebanese sides to respond firmly and responsibly to the suspicious content of the memo."
He also called for conducting investigations whether the Syrian side started with the shelling incidents along the Lebanese northern border or whether it came as a response for arms smuggling operations as well as the security problems that the armed men protected by March 14 are creating.

"The memo doubts the ability of the Lebanese Army and technically rejects its deployment along the Lebanese-Syrian border," Raad said and pointed out that "the memo didn't reflect keenness on maintaining Lebanon's sovereignty."
In parallel, "this memo reflects that they [March 14] are immersed in the American project, which seeks to tear the region apart, sabotage Lebanon and oblige it to repudiate the Taef Accord and its terms."

"The calls to deploy United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon along the Lebanese-Syrian is the same thing that this team asked to stop the "Israeli" aggression against the resistance in July 2006 war," he said.
Raad further recalled that "this reflected the same thing that former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice requested."
"They are now trying to achieve this dream after their failure in achieving it few years ago," the MP highlighted.

Meanwhile, he clarified that "it seems that the role of this memo is to incite against Syria and to cover March 14's involvement and participation in the aggression against Syria through funding, arms smuggling, and media incitement."
"The memo only added to our belief that if the government were under the administration of the March 14 group, there would be war with Syria and the destruction of Lebanon - which are the goals of the group's masters," Raad confirmed.

He also reminded that "despite all the persistent "Israeli" violations , March 14 group did not raise any document neither to the Lebanese presidency nor to any regional or international body."
"This reflects a complete turning away from the "Israeli" aggression against Lebanon," he stated.
Raad also viewed that "those who bet in a change in the Syrian scene in the interest of the American project in the region has missed the train."
