Hizbullah Slams Suspension of Syrian Channels: Violation to Media Rules, Attempt to Suppress Freedom

Commenting on the suspension of Syrian channels on the Arab satellites, Arabsat and Nilesat, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
" The Arab satellite's decision to ban the transmission of Syrian channels comes in the frame of attempts to suppress freedom of speech and opinion as well as to silence the Syrian media voice.
This follows a series of abductions and killings that targeted Syrian journalists.
As Hizbullah Media Relations denounces the mentioned decision, it considers it as a violation of the laws that govern media work and a continuation to interference in the Syrian internal affairs.
Furthermore, Hizbullah expresses its full solidarity with the the Syrian channels, both administration and employees.
Hizbullah also confirms its full support to their diligence in revealing facts, and preventing the fabrication of events.
