Moussawi Meets Watkins, Slams Netanyahu Threats to Bomb Lebanon
Local Editor
Hizbullah International Relations Official Ammar Moussawi met with the UN Secretary General's representative in Lebanon, Robert Watkins on Tuesday. The two discussed the most recent developments on the level of the Lebanese pilgrims abducted in Syria late in May.
The conferees shed light on the emerging positivity [in respect to the abductees file], particularly in light of the fresh release of one of the pilgrims, Hussein Ali Omar two days ago.
On another note, Moussawi and Watkins agreed on the importance of giving priority to anchoring internal stability and resolving daily life and political issues that concern all the Lebanese.
Also for his part, Moussawi condemned the ongoing daily "Israeli" violations to Lebanon's airspace and territories, by that violations to Lebanon's sovereignty.
He as well condemned the recent statement of "Israeli" PM Benjamin Netanyahu in which he threatened to target Lebanon's infrastructure and official headquarters, criticizing the world's silence over such menaces.
