Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the Lebanese government that the Zionist entity would strike Lebanon if Hizbullah attempted any "provocation" against the entity, "Israeli" daily Haartez reported on Monday.
The daily noted that the premier conveyed the message to the Lebanese government through a Western diplomat he met in occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) several weeks ago.
Netanyahu Warns: “Israel” Will Strike Lebanon in Case of Hizbullah Provocation Also, Haaretz quoted a well-informed senior official as saying that Netanyahu "sees Hizbullah as part of the Lebanese administration."
"If the resistance party should attack "Israel", Netanyahu said the "Israeli" army would "strike back forcefully - without differentiating between Hizbullah and the state of Lebanon."

"As far as we're concerned, the Lebanese government is responsible for whatever happens in its jurisdiction," Netanyahu told the Western diplomat.
Netanyahu's message comes after Hizbullah's Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah earlier this month vowed to turn the Zionist into a hell on earth if Lebanon was attacked.
In a speech marking al-Quds day on Aug. 17, His Eminence addressed "Israel", saying: "War with Lebanon would be very, very, very costly."
"We know of certain targets that can be hit by a small number of rockets that would turn the lives of hundreds of thousands of Zionists into hell," he added.
Sayyed Nasrallah also noted that the rockets are already directed at those targets and are ready to be launched should "Israel" attack Lebanon.

The premier's office declined to comment on the matter, reported Haaretz.
