"Israeli" president Shimon Peres has ruled out a unilateral attack on Iran's nuclear energy facilities, saying Tel Aviv will need Washington's help for a military operation against Tehran.

"Now, it's clear to us that we can't do it alone... It's clear to us we have to proceed together with America," Reuters quoted Shimon Peres as saying on Thursday.
He said his talks with his US counterpart Barack Obama has convinced him that "this is an American interest" to halt Iran's nuclear energy program, expressing confidence in Obama's attempts to prevent the Islamic Republic from enriching uranium on its soil.
The remark comes as "Israeli" media accuse Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Minister of Military Affairs Ehud Barak of pushing "Israel" into a unilateral attack on Iran.

The "Israeli" public has already reacted to this by staging anti-war protests in Tel Aviv.
