The three shells were fired at Lebanese civilians returning to the southern village of Adayseh following al-Quds Day celebrations at the Fatima border gate. They fell near the Kfar Kila-Adayseh road, the state National News Agency reported.
Journalists from Iran's Arabic news channel al-Alam were present when the shells were fired, but no casualties were reported.
The Lebanese Army and UNIFIL troops swiftly moved to secure the area.
"Israeli" violations of Lebanese territory are a daily occurrence, with "Israeli" military aircraft frequently entering Lebanese airspace.
An Israeli reconnaissance plane was seen flying into Lebanon over the southern village of Naqoura at 3.30pm on Thursday, which proceeded to make a circular flight over Beirut's suburbs before returning to Israel at 5.05pm.
Meanwhile, it is expected that the Lebanese state files a complaint to the United Nations to protest the "Israeli" assault on the town of Kfar Kila.
