Yisrael Ziv: Any Attack on Iran Will Ignite a Regional War
Channel 7

Former "IDF" Operations Commander Yisrael Ziv told Army Radio that any "Israeli" military attack on Iran would ignite a regional war. In an interview with the Army Radio, Ziv said that attacking Iran cannot be compared with the aerial strike on the Iraqi nuclear reactor in 1981, "We are talking about a number of operations and not just one."
He also warned from the media campaign launched by the Prime Minister and the Defense Ministry which he considered a signal of "worrisome lack of security in the government."
On the other hand, Deputy Prime Minister, "Silvan Shalom," stated a different position and called for giving the international community sanctions against Iran a chance.
In the meantime, a senior "Israeli" official pointed out that the important progress toward nuclear weapons, which Iran has achieved in the recent period, is the development of necessary capacities to produce a nuclear warhead. The same official noted that the new intelligence information that arrives from the United States, "Israel" and other countries state that the final stage of the military nuclear program is progressing quicker than it had seemed recently. Netanyahu: Threat to "Israel's" Home Front Dwarfed by Threat of Nuclear Iran
"Israel" Hayom - Shlomo Tsezna

At the beginning of the cabinet meeting, Netanyahu repeated the statement that he has already said in the past, "bombing of nuclear facilities in Iran and its consequences are less dangerous than a nuclear bomb in the hands of the Ayatollah regime. "All threats directed at the "Israeli" home front are dwarfed by another threat, different in its magnitude and substance, and so I have repeated and shall repeat: Iran must not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons." Netanyahu went on to say, "since 1991, governments did not invest enough in home front defense, I think that there has been a great change under our government. We established a separate ministry to deal with this.

Ministers hold bi-weekly meetings, along with the National Security Adviser, and monitor the necessary steps to upgrade home front defense. We are investing billions in home front defense, in Iron Dome, in the Arrow, and in other systems that are under development. We are investing a lot of money in defending facilities, institutions and homes. We are holding preparedness exercises for various scenarios regarding home front defense. We are upgrading our warning systems, in which "Israel" is among the most developed in the world and we are doing other things which I shall not detail here."

Netanyahu called again on UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon not to participate in the Non-Aligned Summit to be held in Tehran." He must not give legitimacy to a regime that disseminates horrific anti-Semitism, the likes of which we have not seen in several decades, and to a regime that declares its intention to destroy the State of "Israel", that violates all UN decisions, not just against its nuclear program, but against the convention against genocide as well."
