Ahmadinejad: NATO Seeks Stronger Regional Control, Saving “Israeli” Enemy
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad received on Sunday visiting Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid al-Moallem, and discussed regional affairs, especially the situation in Syria.
President Ahmadinejad highlighted the NATO presence in the region, and believed that it seeks to strengthen its control in the region, and save the "Israeli" regime.
He indicated that the NATO, along with the countries that disrespect freedom and justice, are not able to provide these rights to other nations. "They seek to save the Zionist regime and strengthen their domination," President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad iterated.
On another hand, Ahmadinejad stressed that all nations seek justice, respect, and freedom; which are the right of all nations, and must be realized in a proper way.
Underscoring Syria's crisis, the Iranian President expressed hope that stability and security would be established in Syria through the prudence and foresight of the Syrian nation and government.
For his part, Syrian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude of his country's government and nation to Iran over its stance and support for Syria. Al-Moallem stressed his country's readiness to tackle its crisis via diplomatic means, away from violence.
