Imam Khamenei: Muslims Need to Learn from the Quran
Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said that Muslims need to learn from the Holy Quran.
He noted on Sunday that the Iranian nation has got its present dignified status through Koran's teachings.
Speaking to a gathering of contestants of the 29th international Quran competitions in Mashahd northeast Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Muslims were in dire need of Quran's teachings and that recitation of Quran must be an introduction to understanding and getting of the lessons of the divine book.
His Eminence iterated the Iranian nation took honor in hoisting of the flag of Koran and Islam in the material world.
"The Iranian nation feels pride in braving any hardships and patience so that the flag of Koran becomes more illuminant day by day," the Imam said.
Imam Sayyed Khamenei said the current dignity of the nation was a fruit of Quran's teachings, adding that the clear example of Iran has taught Muslims nations that any Muslim nation may prevail over enemies' most complex military equipment's or conspiracies through faith in God and perseverance in the path of God while not trusting the enemies' reconciliatory gestures.
His Eminence cautioned the regional nations that the US and world Zionists were conspiring against their ongoing Islamic movements, adding however that if the nations keep their movement, the conspiracy would end up in failure.
Sayyed Ali Khamenei then touched on an acknowledgment by the international bodies that the Islamic Republic was progressing by a speed 11 times the average world index, adding that the nation would keep progress by relying on its faithful youths.
