The following are the Islamic-Resistance operations that took place during the month of June in 1996..

Islamic Resistance Performs Thirty-Five Operations in June, 1996

This month, the Islamic Resistance performed 35 operations, and no other side performed any operation. The enemy has acknowledged the death of 5 "Israeli" soldiers and 3 Lahd militiamen, in addition to the injury of 10 "Israeli" soldiers and 9 Lahd militiamen; whereas the Resistance has announced the death of 6 Zionist soldiers and 3 Lahd militiamen, in addition to the injury of 10 Zionist soldiers and 11 Lahd militiamen.

Unique Resistance Operation Stuns Enemy, June 10, 1996

On Monday, June 10, 1996, the Islamic Resistance had another victory, revenging for the people and children's blood that was shed in massacres perpetrated by the enemy. In a unique operation, the chivalrous fighters delivered a new coup to the Zionists:
At the crack of dawn, the group of "Nabatiyeh al-Fawka" martyrs perfectly ambushed a Zionist infantry patrol of 15 infantrymen. As soon as the patrol reached the ambush spot on ad-Dabsheh-al-Khardali Route, the fighters struck it with a barrage of firearms and artillery at close distances, killing or wounding each of the infantrymen that were later evacuated from the place by two helicopters.

The Zionist enemy acknowledged the operation, saying that 5 soldiers were killed and 8 others were wounded during the operation performed by the Resistance.
Afterwards, the enemy's channel said that the wounded soldiers were 9 and that the dead ones were: Lieutenant "Leonor Romim", Lieutenant "Yeshai Tshikhter", First Sergeant "Eshel Amir", First Sergeant "Idan Ghefrail", and First Sergeant "Yanif Royama".

In fact, the operation has provoked a state of confusion among the Zionist-occupation forces, pushing the enemy's Prime Minister Shimon Perez to arrive in the occupied region and meet the Northern Region's chief of staff and commander so as to inquire about the circumstances and outcomes of the operation.

Resistance Perfectly Attacks Nine Sites, June 29, 1996

The Islamic-Resistance fighters have again formed scenes as the ones that the world saw when they implanted the standards of Hizbullah and the Islamic Resistance in ad-Dabsheh Site and then in Bserri Site.
Anew, the fighters have been able to frustrate one of the most important military and security sites along the occupied region and West Beqaa.
Whereby on June 29, 1996, the Islamic Resistance carried out an integrated attack against nine sites, among which was al-Ahmadieh Site that the fighters broke into for the first time in 1983 and implanted the Resistance's flags into its fortifications.

Actually, breaking into this site has been regarded as a grand military and security accomplishment; not only was it hard to reach it, but also the occupation had set several ambushes (around it).
What has even made this operation more important was the fighters' photography of the incidents of breaking into the site, in addition to showing these incidents on television so as to falsify the enemy's claims and expose what the Zionists always try to conceal.

The Islamic Resistance has explained the operation details in a statement, saying that the group of Sohmor Martyrs attacked the sites of al-Ahmadieh, Abu Qamha, Zaghleh, Ain Konia, Zemrayyah, and Kassaret el-Oroush. T
he fighters were actually able to break into al-Ahmadieh Site and dominate it for twenty minutes, posting the Resistance's standards there, demolishing its mounds and fortifications, and bombing an ammunition depot.

Security sources have pointed out that the fighters used the heavy machineguns inside the site to bombard the other sites.
Hours after the operation, the enemy acknowledged it, pointing out that a big number of combaters carried out the attack.
A military spokesman mentioned that 3 agents were shot, whereas sources in the occupied region reported that 7 agents were wounded during the operations, declaring that three of them suffered severe injuries: Khalid Qassem Hammoud (from Shebaa) and Fouad al-Harfoush and Haitham Hani Khodr (from Hasbaya).

Other sources in the occupied region mentioned that the wounded Lahd militiamen exceeded ten. The sources added that some of the members of al-Ahmadieh Site escaped towards Kawkaba, whereas some others disappeared into secret crypts in the site. Medical sources in Marjeeyoun mentioned that the agents wounded during Al-Ahmadieh operation were twelve and that an "Israeli" soldier was killed during the operation, too.

Accompanied by Chief of "the Northern Command" Amiram Levin, and a number of grand officers, Chief of the Liaison Unit General Eely Emetai had a round at Al-Ahmadieh Site, checking the casualties of the enemy and agents there and inquiring about the way the fighters made it to the inside of the site.
On the other hand, the Islamic Resistance offered two martyrs during the heroic confrontations: Ahmad Ali Khalifeh (from al-Ghaziyeh) and Muhammad Mustapha Haidar Ahmad (from al-Karak Town).

A week after the operation, information was revealed on the interaction of the operation's outcomes, whereby the information mentioned that the occupation forces refortified al-Ahmadieh Site and rebuilt its mounds and fortifications that the fighters had demolished. Also, the occupation forces dragged the demolished vehicles from the sites of Zaghleh and Abu Qamha and repaired the damaged ones.
Still, commanders of the occupation military and the Lahd Militia held a meeting in the headquarters of the agents' command; the meeting was specialized to evaluate the military situation after the Resistance had broken into al-Ahmadieh Site and dominated it.

It has been known that the agents' command protested to the "Israeli" command against the delay of the occupation forces to support the site members, whereby the aerial backup forces were late for nearly an hour and a half, and the ground backup forces were late for nearly 4 hours and a half after the attack. For more than three kilometers, the wounded militiamen were transported on foot from the site into Kawkaba Town.

The agents' command, thus, requested that Zionist military participation be made in the advanced sites since this could bring the devastated militiamen back to their spirits after they had been stunned upon the fighters' breaking into the site and domination over it - even though the agents had thought it was one of the strong forts.

Islamic Resistance Fiercely Confronts Occupation Forces, June 6, 1996

The confrontations began as the Islamic Resistance attacked the newly constructed Beit Yahoun Site. Then the Resistance blasted a Zionist motorcade on Rob Tleteen-Odeisseh Route.
In the meantime, the Fire Backup Unit was razing al-Aqaba Hill, where there were several Zionist vehicles.

Resistance Performs Operation on Odeisseh-Rob Tleteen Route, June 9, 1996

A day before performing "Operation ad-Dabsheh-al-Khardali" (Sunday, June 9, 1996), the Islamic Resistance targeted a Zionist patrol that was on Odeisseh-Rob Tleteen Route, heading from ar-Rihan Barracks to al-Aychieh Barracks.
The Resistance accompanied this operation with blasting a Lahd infantry patrol was on Beit Yahoun-Kownine Route.

The enemy has acknowledged these operations, pointing out two Zionist soldiers and two Lahd militiamen were wounded. As for the Islamic Resistance, it has shown two video tapes on both operations, showing accurately the casualties that both patrols suffered.
Still, the enemy's channel has broadcasted the scenes, copying the ones shown by "al-Manar Television". The interpreter has said that the Chief of Staff "recognizes definite intensification by Hizbullah."
For his part, the military interpreter "Aaron Barnea'" has seen that "this means that the information declared by Hizbullah on both operations has been accurate."

Resistance Performs Double Operation on Ain Ebel-Bint Jbeil Route, June 24, 1996

On June 24, 1996, the Islamic Resistance performed a double operation on Ain Ebel-Bint Jbeil Route, near Barracks 17.
For hours, the enemy mentioned nothing about this operation; however, the agents' sources acknowledged it then, pointing out that the enemy's security forces encompassed the operation zone.
The Resistance, on the other hand, has declared in a statement that an explosive bomb exploded on Ain Ebel-Bint Jbeil Route while an "Israeli" patrol of 6 vehicles was passing. After the enemy brought reinforcements to the explosion area shortly afterwards, the Islamic Resistance bombed another explosive bomb, killing or injuring many among the reinforcements.

Having failed at finding the bombs, the enemy again had to use robots and dogs to find the bombs implanted by the fighters; whereby the enemy carried out a combing campaign on Ain Ebel-Bint Jbeil Route, using a robot to detect any strange objects, in addition to trained dogs to follow tracks.
