On the commemoration of the Nakba Day in Palestine, Qabbani confirmed that: "The people of Palestine have the full right to liberate their land from foreign occupier, in accordance with the right of self-determination and the right of peoples to liberate their own land."
"These rights are preserved by the UN charters and regulations," he added.
The Mufti further emphasized that "regardless of its strength, capabilities, and oppression, this entity won't defeat the Palestinian people's will in liberating their homeland."

"People neither sell their home countries nor abandon them," he added, pointing out that "the Arabs and Muslims in the world support the Palestinian people in liberating the land and returning to Palestine."

In parallel, the Mufti urged the Palestinian people to strengthen their unity and solidarity to confront the occupation of the Zionist enemy and to face the Jewish state's ambitions in Palestine."
He also called the Arab leaders to help the Palestinian people to be able to endure and remain steadfast, especially in al-Quds, which the "Israelis" seek to Judaize and uproot its families by either confiscating their lands or by buying their properties."
