"Life without liberty is like a body without spirit." Khalil Gibran. Liberty has always been part of the human race, as people have always sought to establish their "just" free entities.
With the presence of free and liberal people in the world, no right should be blindfolded and restrained.

However; Palestine is still under extreme pressure and negligence despite international calls and appeals to halt Zionist assaults. With the memory of the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe) approaching, appeals are increasing and so are international activities in solidarity with the impoverished nation.

On its part, The Palestine Foundation (PLF) of Pakistan announced holding numerous programs to express solidarity with oppressed Palestinians on Nakba Day; a day commemorated all over the world on May 15.

In May 1948, more than 700,000 Palestinians were forcedly displaced after the alleged Zionist state was established on Palestinian territories. May 15 was the day of catastrophe for Palestine; Nakba Day.
"The PLF announced a protest demonstration outside of United Nations offices in Karachi on May 14, [marking the day] when Zionists had proclaimed the state of "Israel" in 1948," Pakistani activist and PLF member Sabir Karbalai told moqawama.org.

Karbalai affirmed that his organization announced a detailed program of pro-Palestinian mass-events in Karachi, Islamabad, and other regions in Pakistan.
"It is also relevant here that almost all known students' organizations announced their support to the PLF programs, and are part of it," he further noted.
Among the country's prominent students' organizations taking part in the nation-wide events are Peoples Students Federation (PSF), Muslim Students Federation (MSF), Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT), Anjuman Talba-e-Islam (ATI), Pukhtoon Students Federation (Pukhtoon SF), Insaf Students Federation (ISF), General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS), and working committee of the PLF.

"The PLF Guardian Council will hold a press conference on May 10. On May 11, a protest will be held in front of Memon Mosque after Friday prayers. On May 14, a demonstration will be staged in front of the UN's offices. On May 15, a seminar will be held in Federal Urdu University," the Pakistani activist elaborated on the details of the week-long program in Karachi.

Furthermore, he stated that in Islamabad, press conferences, protests, and seminars will be held at the same time as in Quetta, Hyderabad, Multan, and Lahore, in order to stage the country's one-voice solidarity with the Palestinians.
Parallel to the pro-Palestine popular events, the PLF of Pakistan and other Pakistani students' organizations had demanded their government "to remain firm on its Palestine policy and continue to support the just Palestinian cause."

This is a tip of an iceberg when it comes to what the world "should" do in order to make a difference and spread liberty and freedom. Palestine should remain the central cause until it sees liberty through the defeat of the Zionist enemy, and becomes the property of its rightful nation.
