MP Hachem: US Delegation Spreads Incitement in Lebanon, Region
Development and Liberation Bloc Member Qassem Hachem rebuffed the visit by US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman, and US Senator, Joseph Lieberman, to Lebanon.
In an interview with al-Intiqad online newspaper, MP Hachem confirmed that "Feltman's visit to Lebanon is an ill-omen for this country as he always brings destructive notions along with him." He added that Feltman is "a main servant of the US scheme that targets the region, which has become crystal clear especially through developments in the region."
Moreover, Development and Libration Bloc member criticized the US delegation's visit to the north, stating, "The delegation's visit to the north is absolute evidence to the aim to spread incitement in Lebanon and the region."
