Neglecting  their authorities' threats, KSA students' protestors staged a sit in the faculty of Technicians in the capital Riyadh to condemn the policy of the university administration and authorities.

The eastern province has also witnessed rallies to denounce the beating suffered by female students in the universities of Abha and Belkarn by security members.
Tensions were high in the Kingdom as protesters defied tighten security measures in the capital to condemn the police's last week attack on female protesters.

The demonstrators said they had come out to voice their solidarity with the student demonstrators demanding a better educational system.
On March 7, Saudi forces attacked a gathering of nearly 1,000 female students of King Khalid University in Abha, Asir Province.
An epileptic student reportedly died of a head injury she sustained in the attack, which left at least 50 students injured and caused one of the protesters to suffer a miscarriage.

Nearly 30 university professors resigned following the brutal crackdown, which caused outrage across the country and also prompted protests in several areas, including the capital Riyadh.
The demonstrators demanded the killers be held accountable on top of which is Interior Minister Nayef bin Abdul Aziz.

Meanwhile, a number of Saudi activists announced a two days symbolic hunger strike in solidarity with their fellow detainee Mohammed al-Bjadey who has been on hunger strike since 3 weeks.
Al-Bjady has decided to go on hunger strike because of the brutal circumstances of his arrest and the legal breaches in al-Hayer prison.

He was arrested so far without charge or trial and was seen in court with blinders on, ankles chained.
In parallel, "the Media Committee of the Saudi Revolution" called for peaceful demonstrations in universities and schools Saturday, while a number of workers in the Saudi Arabia Airlines announced strike against unprecedented files of corruption.
