Imam Khamenei: Iran Won’t Be Defeated
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei announced Wednesday that "the Iranian nation cannot be defeated thanks to its insight and timely responses to events."
The Supreme Leader made the remark in a Wednesday's meeting with thousands of people from the northwestern province of West Azarbaijan on the occasion of the anniversary of their uprising against the deposed Shah on February 18, 1978.
Ayatollah Khamenei further hailed the magnificent presence of the Iranian people in the nationwide rallies marking the 33th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran on February 11.
The Leader said the insight and timely responses of the Iranian nation to events would foil the enemies' propaganda, proving that the Iranian nation cannot be defeated.
"The Iranian nation's insight and timely presence has defused enemy's propaganda and proved that this nation will not be defeated," His Eminence said.
