Iranian Ambassador Visits Lahoud, Discuss Latest Developments
Former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud received on Tuesday Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi, and discussed with him the latest developments on the regional and local arenas.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the latter expressed his pleasure to visit former President Lahoud during the week of the Islamic Unity.
The Iranian Ambassador noted that he discussed with President Lahoud the latest developments in the region and Lebanon, especially regarding the cooperation between Lebanon and Iran on the different aspects.
Regarding the news related to the Iranian engineers who were reportedly transferred to north Lebanon, Rokon Abadi affirmed that he is following up this issue with Lebanese Interior Minister Marwan Charbel, who on his part has promised a serious follow up in this regard.
