Ahmadinejad: US to Eventually Depose Own Tools in Region
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stated that the US will eventually depose the under pressured government that put all their faith on the so-called Washington administration.
In this context, Ahmadinejad stated on Wednesday in a gathering in the southwestern province of Ilam, "Some of the regional government, clinging to the hope that cooperation with the US and its allies, and the implementation of their plans will help them stay in power, have been ensnared in a trap, which will finally lead to their downfall in the hands of the US".
Moreover, he referred to the popular uprisings sweeping across the Middle East, denouncing the US-backed government crackdowns on democratic and peaceful movements. Ahmadinejad warned the regional states from the hegemonic powers that are only concerned about their own interests and do not pay any respect to those countries or even their rulers.
In this regard, Ahmadinejad exemplified Hosni Mubarak, saying that after three decades of serving the US and recognizing the "Israeli" enemy, Washington asked him to step down in the end.
Also, the Iranian President stressed that the hegemonic powers should reconsider their policies, respect the nations' rights, and stop supporting the "Israeli" enemy.
